Kaang Masman Chicken Curry

My co-teachers and I decided to have a bring-your-own-food-and-watch-a-movie kind of day yesterday. We were officially on our day off and we simply decided to relax and share a good meal together. We had a bucket of KFC, some vegetable salad and fruit salad, fried eggplant and egg, fried noodles and chicken curry.

My husband, who's a better cook that I am, decided to make Kaang Masman Chicken Curry. Thanks to some of our friends who went to Thailand, they brought back different curry powder and my husband had an excuse to try one of them.

Here are the ingredients:
  • Carrots and potatoes (diced)
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • Peanut butter
  • Masman Curry paste
  • 1 cup water with Knorr chicken cubes
  • 1 kl chicken

Steps:

1. Sauté onion and garlic. Add chicken and stir-fry until done.
2. Put in carrots and potatoes.
3. While waiting for carrots and potatoes to be cooked, mix coconut milk and Masman Curry paste.
4. Add peanut butter to thicken the sauce.
5. Pour 1 cup of water to chicken and wait to boil.
6. Pour curry sauce and cook for a few minutes.
7. Serve with rice and enjoy!
