Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Tomato Sauce

Ever since my husband and I had an oven, I have always wanted to use it and bake something. We were able to bake a cake and make barbecued chicken. Today, I wanted to do baked macaroni and cheese with tomato sauce.


Here are the ingredients:
  • 4 cups elbow macaroni
  • 5 tbs unsalted butter
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • ground pork
  • 1 cup condensed milk (we like our sauce to be a little sweet)
  • 2 cups grated cheese
Steps: 
1. Cook the macaroni. Boil water and add 2 tsp of salt and 2 tbsp of butter.

2. Drain and set aside.

3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F or 176 degrees C.

4. Sautè garlic and onion. Put in the meat and season with salt and pepper. Cook until meat has turned grayish.

5. Add tomato sauce and stir for about 2-3 minutes.

6. Add milk and grated cheese. Stir often until sauce is thick.

7. When the sauce is ready, pour the mixture over the macaroni and mix everything together.

8. Coat the baking dish with 1 tbsp of butter.

9. Spoon everything into the baking dish.

10. Sprinkle more cheese on top.

11. Bake until golden and crusty. This might take 25-30mins.

12. Remove from the oven and let it set for 30mins.

13. Serve and enjoy!
