With the past few days being unbelievably hot and dry, it's hard to believe that it's still spring in China. So when a friend of ours mentioned swimming to us, she had all our undivided attention. Luckily, we didn't have work this weekend so we all decided to go swimming yesterday.
Green Lake Park Club is located inside the Charming Lakefront community. It's a 10-minute bus ride if you're coming from our apartment. The community has just been built recently and hasn't been quite discovered by most people. It has this Victorian-inspired look and is quite foreigner-friendly since all of its signs were in English and there's even a Western restaurant just outside the gate (prices were pretty expensive, though!).
Other facilities were also available in the clubhouse. There's a yoga and gym room for people who wanted to do some stretching and exercises.
For book lovers and internet addicts, the Books and Internet Bar room is good for you.
Thinking of playing pool and hitting some balls? There's the Billiards and Table Tennis Room. The pool table wasn't there at the moment though.

Inside the clubhouse is a pool big enough to accommodate at least 50 people. But we were quite lucky to experience the pool to ourselves because we were able to arrive there early. It was very quiet and peaceful and everything was just clean.

Customers with children who wanted to chill without their kids pestering them can head over to the Red Wine Cafe while keeping the kiddies preoccupied at the Children's Amusement Park. I wasn't able to take some shots inside these rooms as they were both locked and no attendants were available at that moment.
If you apply for membership, you get to avail all these amenities that the clubhouse could offer unlimitedly. Applying for membership is pretty expensive, ranging from 3000 rmb to 5000 rmb. We simply decided to use the pool for 2 hours (which costs us 45 rmb) and roam around the place to take pictures. We'd definitely come back here!
